We at Cornerstone Enterprises would like to take the opportunity to tell our story. We could say all the right things like every other home builder site vying for your attention, trying to get you to buy their custom homes. We could make promises that other builders make and few keep, however, that is not what we do. WE BUILD CUSTOM HOMES! Building or purchasing your home is THE BIGGEST monetary investment you will make in your lifetime, and Cornerstone takes that investment extremely serious. We constantly strive to set ourselves apart from other builders with our “Outside the Box” approach to the way we build new homes. We work tirelessly to build homes that are affordable with unique options in floorplans, designs, selections, and amenities. We believe that there are five major concerns that you the home buyer consider when purchasing or building your new home.

Quality. Fairness. Experience. Competitiveness. And Always Doing the Right Thing. These are the principles that have driven us here at Utopia Graphix since the business’ inception in August, 2011. And if business growth is any indication of how our customers appreciate these qualities, I think you would agree we have exceeded our customers’ expectations. Our explosive growth has forced us to move from the 4000 square feet warehouse we opened in, to one three times its size in just a year.

Rex’s Story
Rex Fleming, son of Jill and Lance Fleming of Abilene, Texas, was a patient at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas, from November 2010 through November 2012. In 2010, when Rex was eight years old, he was diagnosed with Grade 3 Astrocytoma, a certain type of tumor near the center of his brain. He underwent a 13-hour surgery in December 2010 to remove the tumor, which was malignant, setting off his two-year fight against cancer.

Rex underwent 31 round of radiation and bi-monthly chemotherapy treatments over an 11-month period. In December 2011, he had his second surgery to remove the part of his tumor that wasRex2 growing back.

In July 2012, after two clear MRIs, the Fleming family learned Rex’s tumor was back and was growing toward his brain stem. The doctors informed Rex’s parents that there was nothing more medically that could be done to save their son’s life and that he had approximately 4-6 months to live. Rex died four months after the July MRI.

Rex’s story is not a sad story, nor was his life a sad life. Rex lived every day he was here on this earth to the fullest. He continued to play Little League baseball and spend time with his friends. He never let the cancer dictate how he was going to live his life. His love for God and his acceptance of Jesus Christ as his Savior helped him live two extraordinary years with cancer.

His life is worth remembering and his desire to help other people is the biggest reason the P4X Foundation was established. This foundation is carrying on his legacy, just as he said to his parents before his first surgery, “I’ll live to tell the story.” Even though Rex is no longer with us physically, he is still at work around us.
